Inspired by Frida Kahlo’s life and work, La Casa Azul is an authentic Mexican Mole restaurant concept. The identity incorporates highly saturated jewel tones and collage. The brand includes a logo, menu, outdoor and indoor signage, packaging, and a mobile application. The app plays with Frida Kahlo’s penchant for self portraits, inviting users to create a “modern day self portrait.” The interior signage would serve as backdrops, while the includes stamps and filters and the option to share on social media.
